About the Role
Warwick Business School is a research-led, triple-accredited business school with a global reputation for academic excellence and a portfolio of world-class programmes.
We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Analytics, as we continue to invest in and strengthen our faculty in this strategically important area.
This appointment forms part of our wider ambition to strengthen WBS as a leading global centre of excellence in Information Systems and Analytics, with intellectual leadership, innovation, and impact at the heart of our mission. Our research addresses some of the most pressing questions facing organisations and society, including AI and algorithmic transformation, digital platforms and ecosystems, financial technologies, and the changing nature of work and organisations in an AI-enabled world. On the analytics side, our research spans the full data lifecycle—from data creation, management, and infrastructure through machine learning and AI-driven prediction to prescriptive analytics, automation, decision-making, and policy impact. Faculty benefit from a highly supportive and collegial research culture, strong doctoral and postdoctoral communities, and excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across WBS and the wider University of Warwick.
ISMA is also home to a portfolio of successful and evolving postgraduate programmes, including MSc Digital Innovation and AI Leadership, MSc Business Analytics and AI, and MSc Financial Technologies, providing excellent opportunities to connect cutting-edge research with innovative, research-led teaching.
