About the group/team
Uygun Research Group
You will join the Translational Sleep Medicine Research Lab in the School of Life Sciences at Warwick University.
The lab is based at the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (IBRB) on Gibbet Hill Campus.
We and the wider University of Warwick environment offer substantial opportunities for professional development including regular opportunities to attend international conferences.
Hybrid Working: Please note that at Life Sciences Department, we offer a hybrid working of 1 day a week after the completion of probation period once you have been trained in the role.

About You
We are looking for someone with expertise in immunohistochemistry and lab animal work, but we also welcome applications from people with an interest in learning these skills. Applicants should be proficient in sectioning brain tissue, performing immunohistochemistry on free floating sections, mounting onto slides and imaging under a microscope. Experience with using script to process data is an advantage. The ideal candidate would also have experience with taking stock, managing and ordering consumables. This position would be suitable for someone interested in gaining valuable lab experience prior to joining a post-graduate position in neuroscience.
